Erst dadurch erhalten Fichtes „Reden“ und Arndts „Geist der Zeit“ ihre interessante Tiefenwirkung, die für die Entwicklung des deutschen Nationalbewusstseins im frühen 19. Jahrhundert so maßgeblich war.
